This is where I'll post my art learning journey.
I'm hoping to make 'folders' for each month of artwork (mostly to keep things clean and organized). A mix of traditional and digital. Blog posts will have more in-depth explanations behind each piece/sketch/warmup.
What I'm Using:
- Huion Kamvas 13 Gen 3 Drawing Tablet
- Clip Studio Paint Ver 3 (may also try out Krita again)
Resources (as of 6/5/2025)
I use a mix of resources, as needed. Right now I'm learning the fundamentals, with a focus on perspective and line control. I'll also share some youtubers that have helped me. The youtube channels are more for specific things I'm trying to learn such as color theory, ref studies, etc, aside from Marc Brunet's channel, which is more about tips for how to approach studying art. I'll also link some books/PDFs as I can.
